These are my basic steps toward a much healthy life style:
1. Drink excess water:
Since water represents about 80% of our bodies, we need to consume enough water throughout the day, in order to keep it hydrated. If your water intake is represented by cola or coffee, then you are not taking sufficient water for your body to be healthy. Hunger can so often be confused with thirst, and in many instances we eat because we are thirsty!
A healthy water amount starts with eight cups per day; if you are taking less than this number, then you need to increase this level, till you at least reach this sum.
There’s no need for pills or any appetite regulator. Water is a natural appetite suppressant; if a full glass of water is drunk before the beginning of your meal, your stomach will be slightly full, and will not be able to hold much food.
If you are of the common belief that water may increase your stomach size, you need to know a doctor’s finding about this false claim. Dr. Peter Swan, an assistant professor in Michigan says, “Drinking water before meals won't add any more pounds to your weight. To the contrary, if you do not drink an adequate amount of water throughout the day, your body will become dehydrated. Afterward, when you finally do drink, it will retain the water and store it for future use, which explains why we sometimes feel bloated and weigh more. Drinking water is very important for hydration of the human body, and the body will not retain an excessive amount."
A person will naturally release any water amount that surpasses his or her requirements.
2. Start eating more balanced meals:
We all learned in elementary school the basic food types: proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
Balanced meals should consist of carbohydrates, fibers and proteins. The main source of energy in our diet is carbohydrates, while proteins burn fats. Fats contain many more calories than carbohydrates, so they are the primary reason for weight gain and poor health.
Can it really happen? Can I truly lose thirty pounds in thirty days while eating all kinds of food? Absolutely. However, this food should be in regulated quantities, so you’ll have no further problems with your diet.
