A good strategy and planning are the first ingredients that lead to success at anything. So, to lose thirty pounds or more, you should follow a planned, specific strategy known for its effectiveness without dietary supplements or starvation diets. Many other ways are known to produce good result in losing pounds, and three steps are mentioned below to help you to lose thirty pounds in the shortest period of time:

Specify the food of the day

Planning what to eat and having a specified schedule to follow is a very important and effective point in the weight loss process. You can either overeat or eat wrong food, if you don't have a specific schedule. It's not enough to write down what you’ve already eaten, as it's already done. What is more important is to first plan what you are going to eat.

Don't exceed your calories safe range

If you would like to lose one to two pounds per week, it will depend on your gender, as women can take in between 1,200 to 1,500 calories per day. On the other hand, for men the figure of 1600 to 1900 is sufficient for them, and it is what is called a safe range. Therefore, for a smooth process toward losing thirty pounds, you should not exceed your safe range of calories.

Spread your meals throughout the day

Spreading your meals throughout the day by eating mini meals of considerably lower calories (200-400 calories) per meal is typical for your body to burn fats much more efficiently. These mini meals will keep you from starving yourself, which would be a very bad idea. If you think starving yourself will help you lose thirty pounds in only seven days, you need to ponder, ‘What will happen after these seven days?’ I'm sorry to say that you will regain these pounds and more, but eating small, low-calorie meals will help you to always keep your stomach full within your safe range.
