From my experience, I have found that skipping breakfast, snacking and eating late dinners (less than four hours before bedtime) are the habits of an obese person. These habits directly correlate to weight gain and other problems, such as, high cholesterol, diabetes and hypertension.

A proper weight loss process will allow you to lose fat, rather than muscle, which will increase the fat-burning capacity. You will even increase your muscle mass (improving your shape) and improve you general health.
Not only will you lose weight and improve fitness, you will keep your money without wasting it. Now, would you like to lose thirty pounds in thirty days without pills or processed food? I can say that there are four main criteria for a weight loss program; to have a successful program, these criteria should be:

1. Flexible. When integrated into your life, they become a natural and normal habit.
2. Fun and agreeable. Remember, it should become a lifetime habit.
3. Accurate. Correct the other bad habits that caused weight gain, e.g. snacking. If you don’t, you will gain back weight.
4. Helpful in both losing weight and producing a good shape and better health. Some low-carbohydrate diets include shellfish, which is among the highest sources of cholesterol.
5. Compatible. A sound program allows you to eat more and weight less.

Concerning your eating habits, the question now is, ‘How do you see yourself?’ As mentioned before, most overweight persons skip breakfast and snack at night. If you’re among them, you will have to stop snacking between meals, and be careful with your breakfast.
Some diets are mainly based on starvation. You do not have to submit to them; you know that carbohydrates are the body’s main fuel source, and low or no-carbohydrate foods are deficient in that kind of fuel, which leads to starvation of human cells.
