Do you know your Body Mass Index (BMI)?
BMI is a number that, when calculated, tells you if you need to lose weight or not. You can calculate your BMI by this equation:
Below 20 = Underweight.
20 - 25 = Normal weight.
25 – 30 = Overweight.
Above 30 = you are obese.
If you find that you have to shed pounds, would you like it to be faster and safer? I mean, the weight loss program that you will follow should be viewed as the healthiest one, in order to maintain a good shape later and keep your health in the best condition. For example, if you are a diabetic patient, or if you are suffering from another serious health condition, you will need to choose the safest program.
Suppose you have followed a low-carbohydrate diet, for how long will you stick to it? You will never follow this program for a lifetime; thus, you will have to rekindle this diet after you regain the pounds that you have lost. Accordingly, you must choose a program that you like and enjoy it for a lifetime.
You should also know that your impulse is your main weapon in this war. Your spirit can drive you to reach your goal, and many people defeat themselves with some negative thoughts. Some people I know tell me all the time that they have reached the age of forty, but they don't know that life starts at forty.
Negative thoughts will tempt you ignore your exercises and abandon with the proper diet, As a consequence, at first you will begin feeling quick implications of these thoughts, which will lead you into a depression.
